Our First Client
Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is DAD’s longest-running client. We’ve worked with them since our inception on everything from campaigns to event design to illustration to swag to long-form video to…you get the idea. This time they came to DAD with a request to help the Knight Cancer Institute spread the word about cancer screening via an expansive campaign.
Spot On
DAD had worked on cancer awareness with OHSU in the past. A previous campaign, promoting breast cancer screenings, had employed a single pink dot as its visual center and the copy “spot cancer.” This time, the client wanted to build upon that minimal visual approach and theme, but expand it to a range of different cancers, each one receiving its own version of the pink dot.
Millions
DAD created a campaign that gave each form of cancer a unique visual signature, while sticking close to the overall campaign creative. We built video, social and out-of-home executions. Media across the Portland metro region featured the campaign, including OHSU’s well-populated YouTube channel. To date, DAD’s video promoting melanoma screening is, by far, the channel’s most popular piece of content with over 2 million views and counting.
